We try and do different things for our sphere, our clients and customers...current and past....because we truly do appreciate their business. The fact that they are placing one of their most valuable assets in our hands...or allowing us to help them choose one...Is truly an honor.
This weekend....We are distributing "eatable fireworks" ! We got pretzel rods...those long thick ones, melted white chocolate and dipped in one end...covered them with multi colored sprinkles and attached a note with red, white and blue curly ribbon...the note said "We get a BANG out of your referrals..Thank you, have a happy holiday weekend".
There seemed to a be shortage of multi-color candy sprinkles this year and I was searching at Walgreens..one of the clerks was very helpful and I explained what I was doing and why. She had the look of amazement..."You do THAT for your clients ?" As soon as the chocolate set, I hurried back to Walgreens on my "fireworks route" and gave her one....she got teary eyed...She may refer business, she may not...doesn't matter....One point for realtor image and I get a BANG out of that !

That was a cute idea! Maybe you should leave 2 cards so that if they do actually want to refer you to someone they can give your card to that person.

We don't do it to Everyone....We jump in the car....tie them on doors in plastic bags if they aren't home...Our sphere has gotten tooo big for home delivery to everyone for everything we do...so some get fireworks,,,the next time the next group gets something else..we rotate a lot.
