Relocate to Wisconsin : Does EVERYONE know your Name...?

Does EVERYONE know your Name...?

In this digital/internet/highly technical day and age....Agents and Other related businesses can easily get wrapped in google, fascinated by Facebook,  worried about Wordpress...preoccupied with Pinterest....the list goes on and on...and the decisions of where to be and what to do...who will do it...spiral as the social medianumber of opportunities continues to grow across cyberspace.

Spring brings with it the fresh thoughts of a new season....(not so much yet weather wise in Wisconsin) and it is when we choose as a time for our own "tune up"and trips to get our physicals, dentai cleanings...all the "routine systems maintenance" to be sure we are on track physically and ready to spring into more action in this crazy spring real estate market. blood draw

After the exam, it always means a trip to the lab....and the Vampire extracts what always seems like gallons of blood samples to measure levels of everythiing and report back promptly with the resultsThe colorfully coded caps translating to what each sample is being used to test.  I always volunteer to donate some extra fat....someone somewhere must need far no takers.  The usual chatter...which arm do you prefer...some weather we are having...yadda yadda.    I always make sure that some part of this mini meeting turns to real estate.   Yes...we are experienced agents iin southeastern Wisconsin...the market is a challenge for Buyers....and "The Vampire" says that she and her husband are going to sell their house just a short distance from the clinic....YAAAH !

staging    She goes on to say that they had been considering a sale for a while...and she had mentioned staging to her husband....and he brushed off the suggestion as "not necessary"....oh NO....she was firm that would be  included as they had an agent who would showcase their home for the buying public.

"We will call you and you can tell us how best to get the house ready for sale," she said....and I gave her a business card...and YES she will be added to our monthly mailing of purple envelopes to gain her top of mind awareness and remind her the value we bring to a real estate transaction.

Test results were A-OK with the addition of Vitamin D taken once a day and a promise to return in 3 months to see if this supplement had done it's job.   I tried to explain that a script with orders to go to a sunnier climate for aAirplaneweek or two...Florida, Arizona..Nevada...would he just the ticket....the Nurse said she had tried that with the Doctor and it didn't work...sigh. Oh well....rumor has it we will have balmy 50's by the weekend....and sunshine !

Business is where you find it...never overlook an opportunity to plug in to network....let the enthusiasm for what you do show thru to the world of the people who could well become your next clients !

I'm sure that everyone knows my name.  Yep, pretty sure.

In a few years I might not, but everyone else will.

Good afternoon Sally and David - I am sure that everyone in my market area knows my name.  And some say I know everyone.  Not true but nice to hear it.

Morning Sally.

I tell my agents all the time . Wear your name-tag, always, always have your business cards, a pen or pencil with paper to write down someones name, phone number and address.  You just never know

Sally K. & David L. Hanson the key sentence:"business is where you find it."

Business does not magically occur, you have to go to it.

What may seem like an every day trip, should be looked at as an opportunity to get your name out in front of the consumer.

Great example from your personal journey.
