Relocate to Wisconsin : Short on Time ? Long on Flavor....Try this Ez Appetizer !

Short on Time ? Long on Flavor....Try this Ez Appetizer !

It's the time of year when people visit are the guest....and with the speed that holidays travel and sometiimes the time you don't have to prepare the appetizer you want to serve...or are supposed to bring...this is a festive looking one....(Sorry forgot to "shoot" the finished dish....but you will "get the picture" )

Go from the bakery depbriearttment to the deli and get a wheel of brie cheese...on of our very favorites !   It has such a rich creamy texture.....and is easy to find in grocery stores.

For people who claim the "Can't Cook"....this one is for you ....but it will look like you did !

This is a delicious post brought to you by Sally K. & David L.Hanson, Broker Associates with Keller Williams Realty honored to be of service for all things real estate in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Morning Sally.

Love brie, smooth in texture and the taste is just great.  Now you've done it, I'm hungry for some and there is none in the house..  Dang it

Say "Cheese" ... always works best on the right collection of crackers in a social situation. Reach for Wisconsin cheese of course.

Love brie, love camembert, Sally and David. And I'm all about the quick and easy even when I'm not short on time! Although, having lived in France, I now find it hard to serve cheese except at the end of a meal.

Hey Sally if you really want to impress I take the brie and slice the very top off, pack on the top brown sugar and then crushed pecans on top of that. In the oven at 325 for 15 minutes, serve on a small platter with a water cracker. You will get rave reviews!

This is very good advice to share during this very busy holiday season.

You want a good thing to do with that Brie, Sally? Slice it in half, cover the bottom half with chopped apples, Craisins, sliced almonds, brown sugar & cinnamon and a tablespoon or two of butter. Put the top half back on and bake if for 10 minutes at 325º - DIVINE!

Hope you have a fabulous Tuesday!

Good morning Sally and David.  I love Brie and it is a regular occupant in my refrigerator.  Though, it tends not to stay there too long.

Good morning Sally and David - sounds like we should run down to our local store and keep this one one hand.  You never know.

Sally and David the only cheese I like more than brie is a really sharp cheddar.

Sally I love baked brie, there is one in my  fridge right now, all I need to add is toasted cashews and some jam, bake for 15-25 min inside a filo dough cover at 425 and have some crackers and it is a meal:))Endre

Just served a brie wrapped in filo dough last night with apple slices.  Merry Christmas to the Hansons!
