Relocate to Wisconsin : You Should Have FUN with your Career !

You Should Have FUN with your Career !

We enjoy what we do .....and when we find situations where we can bring in some humor.....so much the better.  We recently had a  family move from the "sunny south" to Wisconsin.   Mr.  Buyer, originally from Michigan, would be preDeerpared for the change in temperatures....the woods that surround their new home and the creatures in it....but sometimes when you least expect it...creatures come out of nowhere....ask any Wisconsin insurance agent how many calls they get this time of year because a deer appeared from nowhere and totalled ...or did substantial damage to a car.  Beautiful creatures....unfortunately, not  "car friendly."

Our new Wisconsinites live on a very wooded lot in the country and sure enough....the car met the deer....and it was not a friendly meeting.   We saw it as opportunity to inject some humor into a not otherwise humorous situation.  We sent them a  "Deer Kit".

First there are "Deer Glasses" that must be worn when traveling thru all things wooded to be sure and spot the Deer Kitcreatures well in advance.   No  "in the woods" kind of home would be complete without the "Trophy" mount we see now and then and is removed before listing....this one is harmless enough and will hang on their tree.

Last but not least, a Christmas pickle ornament.   If you don't know the story of the Christmas Pickle....it has a number of variations....and you may consider it as part of a "good luck" closing present this season....here it is.

We believe strongly in the "Laws of Attraction" and are grateful that we can attract the kind of people who enjoy a little humor with their real estate transaction....and forever after in our lifelong relationship.  We are thankful that "having fun" is a part of what we do...and finding creative ways to have it is half the challenge !

If you are looking for real estate agents in southeastern Wisconsin who LOVE what they do and know how to have fun doing it....call the Hansons....we are honored to be service.

Good Morning Sally and David - you have to laugh at it or else you would cry. I have had one of those unfriendly deer meetings.

Sally and David I am sure they where in need of a smile after their encounter with a deer.  It is amazing how much damage they can do to a car.

By the way you should have included a venison receipt

Good evening Sally K. & David L. Hanson, this is the first time I've heard of a Christmas Pickle, thank you for sharing the story behind it.
I think it's a brilliant idea to present your clients with a deer kit.

Sally and David- this is just the kind of humorous gift I would expect from you two!  You put a lot of thought and effort into whatever you do and it shows.

Cute, fun post Sally K. & David L. Hanson but thankfully I never have to worry about a deer in my headlights here in Dallas!

Larry and I feel the same way that Real Estate should be fun too and not all business. That deer kit is very clever!

Oh my gosh, how FUN, Hansons both! I've never heard of a Christmas pickle - that's a first!

I also believe in injecting humor in everyday life - life is far too short not to enjoy it, right?!

Glad you are of good service. My friend does the pickle ornament with her family. They find it great fun.
