Relocate to Wisconsin : Gourmet Green Bay....A Whole New Packer Taste Treat Experience !

Gourmet Green Bay....A Whole New Packer Taste Treat Experience !

One  of the things we like to do is help local businesses with promotions and advertising. Places we frequent....places that sometimes with just a little "twist" to what they are already doing, experience great business growth.

Old Fashioned     In Wisconsin, we have something we call a Supper Club which has a little different kind of menu and atmosphere than other types of restaurants that you may have Relish trayencountered....and we love them. Each is unique with home made specialties...the kind of "from scratch" cooking that keeps you returning....the none "chain" sort of atmosphere.

It would be more usual than not to begin with the house trademark Brandy Old Fashioned....brimming with an orange slice and cherry as you begun your dining experience with a relish tray. It may have dip, may be freshly cut seasonal relishes, there be be a spread or a dip or not....it is part of this kind of dining experience.

On to signature home made soups and entrees...always a special featured nightly from an ethnic variety of Italian, German, Greek....you never know ....origin...to more traditional....steaks, chops and the greater Wisconsin tradition of a Friday Fish Fry...which by the way, may also be baked, broiled or in some parts of the state, boiled.

Now you know Supper Club History....and recipes that will long remain a mystery....which is part of the joy of the experience....not the chain flavor you may have elsewhere.

Green Bay Packers     Often Packer games are watched at traditional sports bar...mega televisions....bar fare....victorious cheers....a rah rah sort of atmosphere.

A "Momism" interjection here...she used to say you could test atomic bombs in Wisconsin during Packer Games because no one but no one was ever outside....at a bar or house party....but seldom anywhere else.

A local Supper Club that we frequent in the Stoneridge Inn in Hales Corners....a southeastern Wisconsin suburb right "next to the eastern side of Waukesha county."  The owners,  Diane and John Demopoulus were receptive to our idea of turning Sundays into a  little different way of watching Packer games.  Here is the Poster we had created:

Sally, the Supper Club does sound like a great venue for dinner and/or watching the Packer game.  Lucked out while on vacation this week, my team had a bye week.
