Relocate to Wisconsin : Weather Forecasters are Sometimes only Half Right...

Weather Forecasters are Sometimes only Half Right...

There are all kinds of things said about weather casters....if they say "partly cloudy"  or "chance of....rain, snow, sleet, Cloudshail" the chances are ...they are right !   There is a chance...if it materializes they are right...if it doesn't....they are still right.

The news is full of the Hurricane Harvey and the path he is cutting through Texas with expectations that the destruction will exceed the horrific levels that we saw of Katrina when she ravaged the Gulf coast in 2005.  We had for years before made regular trips to Gulfport/Biloxi pre-Katrina and have returned in the last few years....with pride and a tenacious attitude,  the people in the area have risen from the storm destruction and rebuilt the area and southern hospitality once again returned to the tourist filled states of Mississippi and Louisiana.

You have to believe in positive thinking if you are self is part of your survival....if you hit a "bump in the road" you find another path. You don't get that listing or that sale....and you move on to the next one.   You can ....and we think maybe should...allow yourself the 48 hours of Positive light"feeling down" before you hit the pavement and find the renewed strength to continue your path to success. No one gets everything.....all the time.

Positive thought has works for the individual who has it and we know that it is appreciated by the people who receive it.

Please join us.....and spend a few minutes every day....sending those positive thoughts...the rays of sunshine...the attitude that it will take to not just endure and survive but thrive after being hit by the path of Hurricane Harvey.....Come on Active Rain....there is power in numbers...and it doesn't cost anything for each of us to send our highest and best thoughts.

Wallet with money   For those of us who can afford to reach into your wallet or purse...find a cause that spends wisely on direct relief and less on administration.  Getting the money, the food, the comfort to the people who need it most.

This has been a public service blog appealing to the warm hearts and gentle people who read it ....and who will spread the word that "charity" begins at home....from Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Broker Associates with Keller Williams honored to be of service for all things real estate in southeastern Wisconsin.

Our fellow Americans who are in the path of Hurricane Harvey have been very much in my thoughts and prayers these couple of days.

Postive Thinking is the key to so many things.  Weather Forcasters try to do the best job they can but mother natural has a funny way sometimes.

Good morning, Sally and David --- you're absolutely correct -- having and sending positive thoughts cost nothing.  For those who can and want to help in other ways --- Cheers!   Thank you for your generosity.

Sally, the families in and around this affected area will need assistance, and our prayers are in full force and in hopes no lives are lost.

I give to disaster relief through my church so that I know money goes directly to the victims and not some bureaucrats!

We know what it's like. There are those here on Long Island who are still struggling because of Sandy. Our thoughts are with them!

Sally and David- yes to positive thoughts and for anyone that can to send what they can to help. I've been monitoring the weather all day and just spoke with my brother in Houston.

Sally and David I have been seeing the destruction that hurricane Harvey has created so far, and those in his path need as many of our positive thoughts, prayers, and as much assistance as we can provide.

Good morning Sally and David.  The forecast for the coming week is partly selling with a 75% chance of a closed sale.

Well said Sally K. & David L. Hanson. In the real world we can not be right half the time and survive.  It is beyond thought the slowness of how the storm is moving and disaster it is leaving in its wake.
