Relocate to Wisconsin : When You Prefer to Be Referred .....

When You Prefer to Be Referred .....

We LOVE referrals....and get them from a variety of places...multiple spheres....Active Rain...other Keller Williams agents...it is part of the fuel of the pipeline that feeds a Pipeline of Businesshealthy real estate practice.  If you learn nothing else in real estate marketing...no matter what stage of your career you are in, know this...."There is no one  medium that works as well as more than one."  That does not mean spending zillions of dollars...it does not mean using mega levels of different mediums at the same time...It means crafting a plan that works in YOUR market which may well not be the same as someone else's market. The same Multi Mediavehicles are not available to the target audiences you seek as clients to the same degree and at the same price.

We have a tool that we use  to introduce ourselves to a variety of referral sources...and update it as needed.  It is one that you want to keep sharp and ready to use whenever it is necessary. You may use it with your listing presentation...as a part of a mailing...as a "pass along" to an agent who is referring to a transferring Seller or Buyer.  Remember...it IS who you are to the person who receives it.  You want it to reflect your business, your style...your brand.

When people talk to us about referrals...we give them pages like these and they know that agents, Sellers and

Testimonial 1  Buyers are pleased with the service we have provided.  It's sometimes an imposition to ask clients to reister on multiple sites with their reviews/testimonials...this works for us...Try It you might like it too !

This is a professional public service post brought to you by Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Broker Associates with Keller Williams honored to be your referred agents for all things real estate in southeastern Wisconsin.

Good morning, Sally and David -- you consistently share "what works for you" --- while there are obviously state, regional and neighborhood differences, that sharing is one of the most important features I find in ActiveRain.  Especially from you - thank you.

Sally and David nothing beats referrals for business, but referrals are a two way street.  In order to get them you also need to give them.

These days advertising seems to have to hit all the spots.  If not, all of the spot markets cannot spot you.

I think a third party verification is more powerful than giving a document that you created.  How do they know it's true?

Most people seem to think that Zillow knows all so I would make sure that I  had a lot of good reviews on Zillow.  I don't see that in this case. I'd really do something about that.

Sally K. & David L. Hanson a great featured article on the importance of referrals. Like anything else that is effective, we must work for the referral.

Keeping in touch and getting testimonials is part of it.

I agree that a referral system is a great way to build business.

It really means putting the consumer first and serving them well.

Hi Sally and David

Who doesn't like having referrals? And having a system in place to encourage them from a variety of sources makes lots of sense. Others have mentioned this but your link does not work so we can't take advantage of your wisdom!

I appreciate and treasure the referrals I receive, and am delighted to help my clients who are leaving the area by referring them to trusted partners. I find a lot of satisfaction working with referrals.

Doing business by referral is a better way of doing business and referrals usually stay very loyal to you also. Great post.
