Relocate to Wisconsin : I Never Thought I Would Be Wishing for Snow.....But...

I Never Thought I Would Be Wishing for Snow.....But...

The "Wait till after the holidays" Sellers are coming....ahhhh Thinventory least some.....and with that the planning for the execution of listings.

We haven't really had any significant snowfall since before Christmas.  Individually....and microscopically each flake is a snowflakespiece of Mother Nature's finest artwork...delicate, lacy, each one a unique design. Outdoor photography to those of us who have lived here for a lifetime, welcomes the white blankets that cover the lawns and landscape and contrast the brick and mortar...curb appeal has a different meaning in Wisconsin winters. We want to be sure thatHouse with snow listings we take now are "seasonally correct" as they appear in MLS.  The "Winter Wonderland" atmosphere is the kind of exterior picture we want to be able to take to showcase our listings.

Wishing the white blanket would envelope the landscape can disappear in puddles later in the day....just a little please....the hibernating brown grass with scattered patches of white...or worse...curbside not so really not what my "Curbalicious mind" had pictured for our shiny new listings.

snow paintOf course....we all know that the internet has all the answers...'Sure enough....and here it is....just have to get out our brushes....and make things as picturesque as possible....or not.

Well....when nature doesn't bring you do the best you can....after all we live on the INSIDE of the house don't we ?  Stay tuned for our new listings from  Waukesha and Milwaukee counties....We proudly serve southeastern Wisconsin and look forward to showcasing our listings for anxious buyers...whatever the weather !

I can't believe I'm saying this too, but we are wishing for some too so that one of our family members can earn some extra cash for college by snowplowing!

We have not had any significant snow yet at all this season.  And that is fine with me...

Sally, you certainly have the real estate vocabulary I adore!  My recent drone videos were taken last week in the midst of winter and right after over a foot of snow disappeared with the rain...actually the outside shows better and you do buy for location!

Good morning, Sally K. & David L. Hanson yes, the Internet DOES have all the answers and for that many of the photos we see are eye catching...."the eye buys" ....doom and gloom are never a big seller...

Good morning, Sally and David... I never, ever wish for snow! It was in the 70's here the last two days and I couldn't get enough of the wonderful weather and blue, blue skies!

Good morning Sally and David.  I hope you get your wish.  It is always a beautiful sight after a nice snowfall.

Yes it does make for great pictures but not so great to move or drive in. It does beat the dull brown lawns now that all our snow has melted Sally K. & David L. Hanson

Good morning Sally & David. Go figure, but I understand. Brown patchy grass is not photogenic.

Good morning, Sally and David -- snow is not in our weekend forecast in the Los Angeles area --- I can only imagine the headlines if that were to occur.

Sally and David- well, I could wish for snow here but we all know that's not happening.  Buyers need to see the seasonally correct photos in the MLS to be able to relate to what they see!!

Sally and David,

It took a lot of rain dancing to get the rains to finally fall our way and snow to add to the snow pack in the Sierras...maybe it is time to get your snow dance shoes and get Matty to sponsor something to make it snow...A

We mostly escaped the East Coast got last week. I would like one good snow and then I am ready for spring to come. It will not be next week because the weatherman said it will be unseasonably warm.
