  Almost  a decade ago when we began our niche in Divorce...we had some expectations....we imagined drama...and being put in the middle of what was already a nichecontentious relationship......and for the most part....we have been gladly....disappointed.  We rarely see the "bride and groom" as we call our divorcing clients, in the same place at the same time. do have to have a willing ear...and a non judgmental mind....but that is a skill set that every Realtor should have regardless of the status of the Seller.  We have learned and developed systems of communication that work in this specialized area and have served everyone well through the closing of hundreds of divorce related transactions. 

   What else does this kind of niche do to increase your business ?    Our niche is unique....and with a concentrdivorce gavelated and targeted marketing plan, the geography that we serve has expanded well beyond the boundaries that most agents work in our market area.  

   We have been appointed by judges and recommended by lawyers in nine counties in southSoutheastern Wisconsineastern Wisconsin.  We had a Mediator tell us that he could not walk into a family law courtroom in Waukesha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Jefferson or Dodge counties that he did not hear our name echoed in the hallways and whispered in the courtroom.

    Knowing the communities in the state we have called home for a lifetime is part of the core of our practice.  It differs from the practices of other agents as does the skill sets that go with this kind of niche...unique.

Good morning, Sally and David -- I admit I never knew you niche existed before joining ActiveRain.  Now it makes so much sense as divorce is certainly one of the biggest motivating factors in this business.   It makes perfect sense that your names are known and heard in the courtrooms of your area.
