A busy week and busy weekend and we were struck by the ways that business came to us....as we always keep track of the sources of each buyer and seller lead...whether they materialize or not to continue to foster those area that are producing business for us.
Our monthly purple envelope campaign to our sphere, business referrals and prospects is a always a consistent number one as a source of business....and continues to grow.
We also network with the contractors that we refer business to....and will be going on a listing appointment this morning as a result of one of their kind referrals.
Not to be overlooked are the people that provide you personal services...the barber, beauty salon, nail technician...For less than $10...your kind donation of a business card stand will showcase your business and other local businesses as well. A mini billboard every day in front of people in your area...and this week has resulted in two appointments.
Business groups...whether it is the Chamber of Commerce, an after hours group...you know how to find them locally....be a visible part of their activities and volunteer for activities.
Online presence and groups...this can result in a number of ways to increase your visibility. Active Rain of course is a venue for you to write posts about your neighborhood...your niche...your expertise. Announce listings..closings...open house....Show everyone you are not a Realtor in "name only." Lenders tell us about that new product you have ...a person you assisted...a loan you closed. All kinds of opportunities for stories that bring the human element of business to the forefront.
Find a group on Facebook....or Found one...maybe you will be the one to start the subdivision, neighborhood or suburb page for what is going on in your area...announce the rummage sales, the block party...who is that does the lawncare or is available to babysit...Be creative. This week we made contact with a family that will be moving here from Colorado and we will be their Wisconsin ambassadors....and Realtors as a result of Facebook network connection.
Connect other people with each other...it doesn't have to just your own connections....we connected a physical therapist with an accupuncturist...and they both gained business as a result....and are our loyal referral sources as well.
Soooo many options....grow them....be the person in your chosen profession that people remember....the one they call and are happy they found....Connect in every way you can with all the people who can use the services you offer.
