Relocate to Wisconsin : Bathroom Remodeling...Step by Step....

Bathroom Remodeling...Step by Step....

When we choose to make changes that are likely to last for a while....we shop carefully....and be sure that we are "in love" with whatever it is we have chosen...likely it will be there for a while.  Time is often at a premium and shopping for everything all at once, not always an option. Some things are easier to find...faster to love....and less permanent...easier to change.

ralph lauren metallic silver Ralph Lauren again paid a visit with Silver Metallic walls...easy to work with many accented colors for a whole new look...yes of course purple...blue...pink if you please...teal...it can change seasonally if we wish and look like a different room ! The faux finish has subtle differences that add a touch of sophistication to the room.

oiled bronze rope pulls   The medicine cabinet got replaced with a mirror with silver trim.   We love our custom cherry vanity and that remained but with the benefit of new oil rubbed bronze hardware. Towel bar, toliet paper holder and faucet are also oil rubbed bronze finish.....David picked out the faucet...one that has a little more contemporary style and sort of "whimsy" about it....who would have thought a faucet could make you smile  ?

 It does !    bathroom faucet

The lights are in place...complimentary hardware ...and then next piece was the sink....we decided on copper...and had to find just "the right" one...this oval sink has a hammered interior finish and will drop below the counter level....counter yet to be chosen.

Counter will be quartz and the floor

cork....on to the ecologically correct

toliet withcopper sink water saving feature and

the steam shower....and time to find

them....and another room can  be checked

off the list.

Someone will say...show us a picture and when we have the counter in and shower installed...we may even do a video tour...not with anyone IN the shower...you know ...just the features !

I love that faucet. My bathroom is the next thing i tackle. I am not too excited as the kitchen had some hiccups. Time for a new contractor and perhaps new plans Sally K. & David L. Hanson

When I was flipping homes quite a few years ago I always had my hand in designing the remodels. It's so fun to pick out faucets, fans, counter-tops, tile, etc.

Hey, great minds think alike. :) I remodeled my first bath in my present home working around the vessel sink as my focal point, which was also copper, but not made out of copper. It is a raised and etched glass in a solid copper color.
