They were very open abou ttheir finances and expectations...and what they could save for a down payment.
We talked about the kind of house they wanted....the locations that would work...and lenders they could work with to get pre qualified.
We assured them that a trusted inspector would have their best interest at heart and that further protection would be a home warranty for the repairs that pop up when least expected.
This young couple is goal oriented and determined to meet their goals with a calendar to match their self omposed deadlines so that when their lease is ip...they will be up for being homeowners in every financial sense of the wrod.
They apologized for taking so much time...and said they knew that theirs would not be the most expensive house we sold. True it won't be...but it will be one of the most fun to see the goal reached and their happily ever after become reality. They promised referrals to their friends...and co-workers and we know those will be forthcoming. We will of course add them to the purple enevlope snail mail so they will be in touch with us every month before we begin their home search.
