Relocate to Wisconsin : A taste and a Sip at Coopers Hawk Winery

A taste and a Sip at Coopers Hawk Winery

Coopers Hawk Bar  A tasty combination of an upscale casual restaurant complete with a winery, tasting and gift shop is what you will find at Cooper's  Hawk Winery and Restaurant, a new addition to the Brookfield area in Brookfield Square shopping mall located at the corner of Bluemound and Moreland Roads.     We had heard about this unique concept including a wine club....and had to try it ! Our neighbors joined us for this new addition to Waukesha county eateries....and we began our evening with a trip to the bar and a stroll through the winery....Cooper's Hawk has won awards for some of their wines and chooses a selection from west coast vineyards to make their own special label delights.Coopers Hawk Pinot Noir  The red feather is their trademark logo found on labels of the  dozens and dozens of bottle displayed thoughout the tasting room and bar.  It's a unique and upscale atmosphere unlike any in the area that we have seen....a little bit California.....Coopers Hawk Shrimpeye candy and a tasty variety of red, white and blush wines to please your palate as you peruse the menu of specialities that include vegetarian, seafood and meat entrees sure to delight you no matter what your taste. Mmmm...drunken shrimp , blackened bleu  steak salad, pistachio crusted grouper just to name a new....guaranteed to answer the hungry call with a touch of elegance and ambiance. Our only concern in this dining experience was the noise level and the wait staff was painfully aware of it and said that they were working on getting that fixed..Come for the food and stay for the wine.  If you find that Brookfield and Waukesha County are the places you enjoy. Call the Hansons for prompt service and proven results....we'll help you feel at home.

Very mouth-watering photos~ love the names of some of the dishes: drunken shrimp, blackened bleu--DARN, now I'm hungry.
