We entertain a lot... it can be formal or informal...we enjoy cooking and are social folks by nature. When we built our house, we designed it ourselves and the dining room was an important consideration for our lifestyle...from the trayed ceiling and traditional chandelier to the royal blue walls...it was all planned before the footings were poured for the foundation. David says I spend as much time dressing the table as I do myself....true enough ! I love table toys...individual salt and pepper shakers...dishes and glasses of many hues, napkin rings, etc.
We entertain clients, customers, co-brokes, our partnering business associates, neighbors, family and friends...traditional recipes or it might be "vegetable surprise" with a conglomeration of whatever there is at the Farmers' market. We choose to share a part of ourselves....and now...here it is for you....We chose to make New Berlin our home...a suburb in Waukesha County ...a little bit country with larger than city lots...but not tooo big...no sidewalks to maintain...20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee...a great location, super schools, easy access to anywhere. Give us a call...we'll give you a tour and you may find New Berlin the place you want to call home.
If you are in southeastern Wisconsin...you are welcome to a place at the table....we have a bar downstairs...or a seat at the bar....sit a spell...and enjoy !

Save a seat at the bar for me! I won't be there until the threat of snow (or cold) is gone.
Sally and David....my team and I will be there tomorrow....start cooking....we'll be hungry!!!
OK....no snow yet Laura...hurry ! You are most welcome Barb.....we'll start now...the more the merrier !
What an inviting post. You sound like gracious hosts and I love your table toys.
Margaret
Count me in on this party Sally and David................wouldn't want to miss this one with the guest list you've already got going...............isn't it fun to "dress the table"................one of my favorite things too.
Oh wow....we'll have to charter a plane from the east coast...pick up Barb, Laura and Margaret...swoop in to add Roger....come on out...we'd love to have you ! She with the most guests wins hmmm ?
Sally and David - I'm new to AR but count me in to. I used to live in Wisconsin and really miss it - what a great place!
Would that I could. I would be right over. But alas, life and distance are in the way. Maybe one day!
Ok Dan...come on back....we'll light the fireplace....You never know Jay..the next Inspection conference could be in Milwaukee....we'll keep the light on for you !
I bet your parties are a hoot! And, I have had a seat at that bar and you guys rock ! Have a nice week!
You're a girl after my own heart! I LOVE my dining room and all my table toys. Alas, since moving to Idaho and away from my family and friends, I have not been cooking up a storm and feeding the masses like I used to. I need to ramp it back up, it was one of my favorite things in life. Funny, the HUGE dining room I left behind had a ginormous traditonal brass chandelier and deep blue walls (more of a federal blue than a royal blue) with white wainscoting below the chair rail. No blue tablecloths or peacocks on my table though....
Hey Janna....need a peacock...Kristin...the bar is open anytime...that's another blog !
