Summerfest is probably Milwaukee's best known festival. It is an outstanding selection of every kind of music, lots of food, exhibits....it is the festival that people come "home" to if they have moved away...it is the festival people come to because they have heard how great it is. It showcases the Lake Michigan lakefront Henry Maier Park Festival Grounds. Locally, we refer to it as "Milwaukee's Big Gig." It is billed as the World's Largest Music Festival and we are seeing billboards around town announcing some of the talent that will be at this year's festival.
There are many stages throughout this lakefront park and each offers different music...some local and some of national reputation and here are some of them that we know you will want to come and enjoy:
ZZ Top, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty....just a few of the OVER 800 musical entertaiment attractions to please your ears !
We suggest that you stay tuned to the Summerfest website...more acts are being announced all the time and you don't want to miss the opportunity to see/hear your favorite groups !
Find out why this Summerfest logo is smiling...it just could be the music, the food, the fireworks.. the fun....and you won't want to miss a minute !

You may decide that there is soo much fun in the greater Milwaukee/Waukesha area that you want to stay here and call it home...as we have for a lifetime...whether you want a loft overlooking the lakefront or country estate with a few acres to roam....or suburban sub-division life...we have it all....we welcome you !

Rocky and I love going to summerfest...we usually try to go a few times a year! Maybe we will see you guys down there!
The hated Nissan Pavillion, now called the Jiffy Lube Pavillion I understand, is near to our house and a traffic disaster. We call it The Hideous Nissan Pavillion! Your facility there looks real nice! Beautiful location and away from the neighborhoods.
Ahhh...it's great Jay...ask Kristin...it is on the lakefront and everyone's favorite summer place to eat, drink and be merry !
I'll ask her the next time I see her.
Who is Kristin?
I remember going to Summerfest in the late 70's when all of the stages were named after breweries. Lots of good memories from the lakefront.
hey john...some still are....and we have more now than ever...if you are ever in the neighborhood...let us know !
We have a Summerfest here, too, but it's all classical music. Unfortunately, the price of classical music tickets are skyrocketing like all the other tickets to any type of musical event.
Sally & David, Thanks for sharing. I am hoping to be in Milwaukee next month for some training.
Great....let us know when ! there is always a place at the table, a stool at the bar for our AR pals...training for ?
