Relocate to Wisconsin : Welcome to Wisconsin...It's Raining Referrals !

Welcome to Wisconsin...It's Raining Referrals !

We got a call a couple weeks ago from a fellow  Rainer....who wanted to know if we would be interested in helping one of his sellers find a new home in Wisconsin. He had  been reading our blog, he was a fellow CDPE and liked Keller Williams...we thought long and hard for a millisecond....and send SURE ....send 'em our way and we'll show them why we have made the Badger State our home for a lifetime. email

An e-mail appeared from Mrs. Seller with their contact information as well as the description of the kind of home they would like, the distance they wanted to travel to the new job....their interests....and arrival time. We got busy setting up showings and put together a basket of Wisconsin goodies...Some of the usual you would expect....Sausage from Usinger's, cheese, crackers....information on the area....and had it waiting at their hotel to welcome them.basket

Today....we have umbrellas packed and will meet them this morning at their hotel for breakfast and then....literally...go out in the rain....with the referral from Active Rain and help a family get to know the areas where they will be working,  experiencing all the cultural. recreational and educational opportunities the area has to offer.Welcome Mat

Thank you Active Rain....and the referral source...if you wish to reveal yourself...please comment and I am happy to thank you by name...your choice. We really will need an umbrella today....that's fine...Rain makes the flowers beautiful and it expands your real estate practice as well !

Thank you Ladies....the rain is washing the snow away and making way for the spring flowers to poke their heads up...and we are glad we got the "heads up" on this new business !

Don't you just love those ActiveRain referrals!  I am working with two AR buyer referrals right now.  By the way, it's raining here right now, too!

I'm wondering several things here:

  1. Why did it take you so long to think about it?
  2. Why did you pack umbrellas?
  3. Where will Cosmo and Magic be?

Don't mind me. I'm just the court jester!

Great news! I recently had an ActiveRain member from Wisconsin refer a Client to me, but I had to pass on it because circumstances and distance led me to believe that I could not do a good job, and since my reputation is always at stake, I don't want to do a bad job for anyone. Sometimes it's important when to say "No, but thanks for thinking about me."  I hope to be able to reciprocate some day.

I see you've had a comedian stop by in comment #11. No shocker there!
