f you have ever had your password stolen, identity taken, been compromised in any way had information you consider private, personal and confidential taken from you....you know it feels like someone has been rifling through your underwear drawer...gives you the goosebumps...eebe jeebies....cold sweats....and nothing you ever want to experience again.
Here are some of the passwords...most often used...guessed by hackers...besides the common sense of not using your name, phone, address....nickname...
Sequential numbers - 12345, 123456, 12345678 Easy for You...Easy for Mr/Ms Hacker![]()
Password -'Ya think ?
iloveu - they will...all the way thru your once "protected" information !

Princess - Great for a license plate...not sooo much for security !

RockYou - Your world will be rocked all right...good one to stay clear of !

ABC123 - Best left as a Michael Jackson song memory...not on your computer

Your First Name - Or Popular First Name..Jessica Michael Ashley...Larry, Curley. Moe...Don't Go there !
BabyGirl - Cute but no cigar....likely a hack instead
Chocolate - Mmmmm....melts in your mouth...not on your hard drive !

Angel - This would not be of the Guardian variety....guard your security carefully !!!!!

Choose carefully.....be safe....protect yourself, your information, your identity. If it's Toooo easy...it's easy for anyone to steal.

Interesting * I had my Craigslist account hijacked and all of my listings flagged....I realized I could change my password and hopefully stop it. Since I post daily, it was not big deal; however, if they want to hack Craigslist, they want my bank information too!!!
Thank you for the reminder!
Hack...cough...steal...some people have nothing better to do...and it must be lucrative enough to spend the time doing it !
I enjoyed the post. I can not imagine people hacking password for craigs list.
For any body that wants to know. My passwords are antidisestablishmentarinism235!!@ or something like that. Problem is, I can never get it quite right? :-)
Hey Gabe...that sounds like diabolicalNonsense123...it's all in the spelling...hmmm ?
Good morning Sally and David,
Excellent post..we do get very lax when it comes to passwords because we need so many of them. You are roght we can never bee too careful. I did a post on a Blonde's Password..check it out.
I'll hop on over there and check it out Dorie....thanks for stopping by !
You just can't be too careful now a days. It is keeping up with all the user names and passwords that drives me insane!
Sally and David, my problem is I always have to click on the "Forgot your password?" link because I always forget my passwords. Better safe than sorry though. Thanks for the reminder.
I hear you Michael...you forget and worse, you have to change it to one you still can't remember...grrr...has to have capitals....must contain numbers....Hey Dixie...get a wipe on/off board....my memory wipes out waaay too often !
I hate having to come up with passwords, they are kinda like locking your door at night. Its to keep honest people honest. If a thief wants to break in they will.
True enough...but leaving the door open or unlocked invites trouble...intrusion...thieves

When I took over a Nextel office in Detroit many decades ago, I found out that all 53 employees had left their passwords as "password" so that they could work from any computer, and even call in from the field and have someone else easily access their computer. So I went in early one morning and changed all the passwords. That was the most fun I've had in a long time -- LOL. The only way they could get back in was to create a new password, and there were restrictions, like no "12345" or "password."
My password is easy for me to remember.
My computer has a hard time with it now and then.
You need to have your computer get a sex change Jay.....women can multi-task....AND have better memories !
