It what can be the frigid Midwest….some people have adopted the philosophy that spring is the only time…or at the very least….the best time to list or buy a home. We’re here to tell you that’s an old wives’ tale….and we all know what happens to old wives….:) !
The real estate market has been a different place these days…and what was is not….what will be may or may not be….but what we do know for absolutely, positively is that the laws of supply and demand are a factor in determining the price….the market has been overcrowded with inventory in many segment and neighborhoods. We are seeing more buying activity now than we have in long time…the interest rates are wonderful….the buyers are out ready to buy….do we know what spring will be ? Do we know what interest rates will be ? What is do know is now is a great time to sell.
So
oo…warm up the house with cornucopias of attractive décor….find a realtor with a marketing plan that has been proven with a sales record, a great list to sale average in price, the money, energy and technology to showcase your listing to buyers and agents throughout your area and enjoy the traffic that will be generated when you offer your house at a competitive price and in great condition.
Fall back into a great time to sell a home !

Hi Sally & David, What beautiful pictures! Yes the fire is warming me up right now:) It is a great time to buy and sell.
Fall is a great time to sell real estate! Clients want to get into a new home for the holidays and sellers are more motivated to sell. We have seen more activity recently than in the past several months - surprising because our summer months usually are our busiest. Thanks for the post and beautiful scenery!
Holiday decorations make a home sooo inviting...buyers should have a hard time choosing which house to make their home...Happy selling !
We definitely agree. When we first started in the business, I remember a print out from the brokerage that pointed out that the buyers during the holiday season are definitely serious or they would be doing other things!
Picturing that new home that now means the whole family and guests can be entertained in one place..the decorations...fireplace...bigger kitchen...master suite retreat...mmmmm....
