Reading thru some blogs with agents whining about short sales...banks that don't cooperate, mortgage insurance companies unwilling to take losses and don't understand the term "short", listing agents with no training who thought they would "experiment" at the risk of someone's foreclosure, agents who try selling them but don't prepare their buyers that it can be a "hurry up and wait" game, Soooo I thought it would be interesting wine/whine flavors that we could create revolving around this area of practice.

Would the wine be red....for what sometimes seems like the blood that the banks and mortgage insurers want from sellers who have already given all they have to give ?
Would it be a blush color to reflect the embarrassment that agents who actively practice real estate in today's market find in their cheeks when they learn what they don't know?

Or would it be white...to indicate the success of a short sale, a clean slate, a second
chance...a new beginning....

more like a tequila shot. . . short glass for short sale. .but the lingering effects could last you for months.. .specially if you took the wrong decision.
Good point....and ohhhh the hangover that hangs on and on and on...
Sally I do love a good Whine... wine. Funny I also prefer a nice Chardonnay.
One of these days before the S word we will whine wine together.....a little cheese...a cracker or two...
Sally & David - An approved short sale is a bottle of Champagne!!!
You are sooo right Wendy.....and sometimes when the selling agent has been especially good...that is their treat at closing !
And just where do common folks like me come in with our margaritas and jalapeno nachos?
Margi's are way tooo smooth to be short sales...those are friendly banker sales and peppers are first timers who know everything even if they never bought a house.
Count me in , especially if it's red !
Ok Michael....we'll bring some Wisconsin cheese with that.....got any crackers ?
Sally & David, I certainly enjoy a nice glass of red at the end of a fun filled Short Sale day!
My favorite wine choice...though without he bottle I can't spell it ...phonetically is pouey fooosah...a french white that sounds like a cat sneezing....\mmmmmmm...
