We took a little chill time last night visiting one of our buyers...and out for dinner....then a walk thru the maill to walk off dinner....and suddenly...my husband experienced sharp chest pain, arm tingling...hot sensation....and quickly got him reclining on a bench inside the mall while I dialed 911 on my cell. It what seemed like a blink of an eye...rescue squads came from both Greendale and Greenfield. It seems (was there a full moon ?) there were a few reasons for people in need at the same time. The paramedics were professional...prompt...drove me to our car parked on the other end of the mall....and were very caring in their approach to us both.
David has now spent the night at St. Luke's and is having more precautionary tests done. We know healing is taking place as I write....and that some things will change..less sodium, more exercise...and so it goes..you never fully appreciate your health until it gets called into question....
Thank you Greendale and Greenfield...we appreciate your service and know that your prompt and professional action go a long way to making us all feel better.

I am happy for the quick service of the paramedics, and I so hope David has a quick recovery. You are both in my thoughts! Please update is WHEN things are well!
Wow Sally, I sure hope all is alright for David and you! Isn't life just like real estate sometimes, you have a little free time and then an emergency sets it, stop that right now, just get better now!!!
Thank you ladies....a zillion tests and no sleep later...we know what it was not...no heart attack though it acted like one...no blood clot...though it could have been one...no clue...and we would sure like one...on to my REAL cardiololgist next week so he can evaluate all the tests and give us some insight...thank you for your kind good wishes.
I'm so sorry, Sally. I hope David pulls through with flying colors, and thank goodness you were able to quickly act and get him to the hospital. Wow, maybe there was a full moon. I'll have to check. Gary Wortal's brother-in-law died yesterday. My cat almost died and required an emergency trip to the hospital. What is about Sundays, anyway?
Sally
Thank God he got to St. lukes in time. I am glad he did not have a heart attack. anything someone can do to help?
Thank you all....
David is back at work...we have no real cause known at this point...all tests were negative but come tomorrow am, I will call my trusted Cardiologist, Dr. Tim Vellinga and have him take another professional peak at the test results.
Our Thanks...
Sally, David, Cosmo & Magic
Hi Sally,
I'm thankful that the paramedics arrived quickly and that David is doing ok. His symptoms sound a lot like what my Dad experienced a number of years ago...they ran him through a battery of test for heart issues and it wasn't until many, many months later that it was discovered to be his gall bladder. Perhaps they should look into this too? My Dad ended up getting emergency gall bladder surgery and this could have been avoided had they checked into it when he first began to have periodic symptoms that were similar to heart issues.
I'll keep David and you in my prayers....
Jo
Thank you Jo....I will make sure that is on the "checkout list"...you can never have too many eyes !
