A while ago the word from the neurosurgeon was that back surgery was the order of the day for what appeared to be an incurable pain in my lower back. Couldn't stand, sit or walk...sleep...without being in pain...could only hope tylenol would bring the sandman...hot showers, cold packs....nothing brought relief. I was resigned to back surgery and then a friend of ours suggested I make an appointment with Bill Anderson....I am up for anything when it comes to curing pain. If you want to call it, alternative medicine...Magic Fingers...I am there !
Bill's training is varied....extensive....and may be "outside the box" of any sort of treatment you have had before...and that is the good news...the very good healing news. If you click Bill's brief resume above...you will see his title of "healer"....and nothing could be closer to the truth...I almost crawled into the office....and skipped out ! AND the best news is that Bill is soooo not the kind of guy that has you come forever, every night and day for weeks and months...he gets it...he knows what works and what does not...and he has studied and mastered a variety of therapies to help cure whatever ails you !
I remember my first appointment ....I brought every film of my back taken from every angle.....apparently my spine had a pretzel like appearance and it sure felt that way too...
Bill most probably had been there/done that..... In his years of study...he has probably seen it, rubbed it, healed it, cured it all....Bill's very extensive background includes the practice, study and application of a variety of disciplines including (but OHHHH not limited to !:
- Shiatsu (Japanese “finger pressure” massage)
- Tui-Na (Chinese massage)
- Sul Gae (Korean massage)
- Chi Gong (Chinese energy system)
- Jin Shin do (acupressure)
- Tsubo (acupuncture)

- Dhanda Yoga (staff yoga)
- Feldenkrais Method (movement development)
- Craniosacral therapy (cerebrospinal fluid adjustment)
- Reflexology (hand and foot pressure technique)
- Applied kinesiology (muscle-strength testing)
- Facilitated fascial movement (soft tissue therapy)
- Rolfing (structural integration)
- Native American traditional medicines

I remember that song (title)! I hope your back stays feeling great due to Bill. What a nice tribute to him!
If you just want stress relief....and parts you didn't know weren't "tuned up"....he is wonderful....I am glad I am not the only one who remembers that song ! :)
It was one of the best song's from Conway Twitty. I found your blog very interesting and informative. I have a friend who has suffered for years with back pain and I am going to tell him about Bill. Maybe he can help him. Great Blog!!!
You bet Debbie....he is just the best....no matter where you are...I would crawl over there in a heartbeat !
Hi Sally & David - Glad it worked for you! I am facing a lumbar fusion if epidurals don't work, starting next week :) I am skipping chiro -
I was where you are,,,one trip to Bill....and not again for 4 years....it would be worth the flight !
Sally does your magic fingers man know anyone in Georgia he had training with? Glad Bill did wonders for you.
It only has ever taken me one treatment when back/leg/knee surgery was the conventional cure...I can ask..but know that there is always a place at Hotel Hanson....great food...good bartender....your own bed and bath...come on up !
Sally, Glad you found the man with the magic hands. Did you send Bill a copy of this post! Hope the relief continues!
YES....I asked him how he felt to be blogged...not quite as good as I feel when I leave his office but he will when the new clients are lined up outside the door even farther than they are already...
Ouch, my husband has back pain too. He does a series of morning stretches and exercises that keep him flexible and out of pain.
