"Take the Emotion Out of It...." Said the Manager

  We had a manager once that claimed that all things real estate were "strictly business." We can understand that in commerical real estate...theremotione is not often the emotional attachment that one finds in the place that someone has called home...built family memories...OR saved every nickel to be able to make it their first big investment.

   While Realtors ....and lenders....and other allied professionals look at the the buying and selling of residential real estate as a career....and a business. We fell very sorry for those people whe cannot empathize...umderstand...at the very least, acknowledge...the emotional aspect of what we do during the course of business.

  Happy and Sad  Sharing in the joy of a first time purchase....Understanding the sacrifice and courage of a Boomerang Buyer in making a fresh start after a short sale....Knowng that downsizing makes good economic sense but it means leaving a home full of memories a family built together....Transition to assisted living....Being able to "live the dream" with the house on the water....or the cozy cabin getaway.....To us,  these are things that real estate is made of....and we are honored to share them with the people who have entrusted this valuable asset to our care....we care.

   While we believe we lend the "business objectivity" to getting the job of buying or selling done....we could get there without understanding the emotions of the people we are honored to serve in all things real estate.
